INSTALLATION
This hood is for use in central ventilation systems or heat recovery systems. The hood must be connected to an external suction unit (not sup-
plied). The hood is designed for installation in a cupboard.
NOTE: To achieve the full effect of the built-in vortex reflectors, Airgrip must be installed between two cupboards. At the same time, the lower
edge of the hood must be flush with the bottom edge of the cupboards.
Airgrip has a potential-free switch, which can be connected to an external system, if required. Connection is made in the black box that sits on
top of the hood, or according to the wiring diagram on page 42.
NOTE: The potential-free switch can support a maximum of 230 Volt ± 10% ~ 50 Hz and 10 amps.
The hood is installed under a cupboard as follows:

Measure and cut a hole for the valve. Mark the location of the holes on the bottom
of the cupboard, and pre-drill the holes. Install the hood with four screws.
Place plugs in the four screw holes. Place the exhaust pipe on the hood. Take
special care to ensure that the valve can be
opened and closed freely. Attach the wires to the base.

Connect the light connectors and attach the
bottom part of the hood.

Connect the hood to the electrical mains
socket using the installed plug.
NOTE: The hood MUST be grounded.
