Desolder Tip Inner Diameter: 0.80 mm (0.03”)
MxxDT004
Desolder Tip Inner Diameter: 1.02 mm (0.04”)
MxxDT005
Desolder Tip Inner Diameter: 1.27 mm (0.05”)
MxxDT006
Desolder Tip Inner Diameter: 1.52 mm (0.06”)
XX Denotes Temperature Series:
60 = Temperature Sensitive
75 = Standard Applications
80 = High Performance
Choosing the Correct Tip Geometry:
1) Select a tip with an inside diameter larger than the lead diameter.
2) Select a tip with an outside diameter that is approximately the same size
as the pad.
Choosing the Correct Temperature Series:
For temperature sensitive applications please choose the 60 Series tips.
For standard applications the 75 series tips is sufficent.
For heavy loads or very thick multi-layer boards use the 80 series high
performance tips.
