Q: After connecting the enclosure to the computer, it shows driver has been
installed but I am still unable to find the drive on my operating system.
A: If the hard drive is brand new, you will need to first format and partition the
hard drive before it can be recognized by the computer. Please refer to
your hard drive Manufacturer's instructions on how to format and partition
the hard drive.
Q: After connecting the enclosure to the computer, the light on the 2.5”
enclosure flashes continuously but the drive is not found on the operating
system.
A: Two possible solutions:
1. If the hard drive is brand new, you will need to first format and partition the
hard drive before it can be recognized by the computer. Please refer to
your hard drive Manufacturer’s instructions on how to format and partition
the hard drive.
2. Some hard drives require more power than others. Make sure both USB
connector on the Y-type cable is connected to the computer.
