2.1.2.1 Installation

The following procedure explains how to install the DDR3 Memory Modules.

Loosen and remove the seven screws securing the air-flow deflector in the fol-
lowing manner: (see

Figure 2-2

•

Screw A

—After removing Screw A, remove the PCI card retainer bracket

and store in a safe place.

•

Screw B—

The screw marked “B” in

Figure 2-2

is recessed. Remove it

with a long-shank magnetic Phillips screwdriver.
