2.1.6.2 Installation

5.

Insert the replacement dual-fan housing into the slot formerly occupied by the
removed housing, aligning the key at each end of the new housing with the
alignment slot (see

) in the fan-mounting bracket.

6.

Connect the two 3-wire cables from the new dual-fan housing to the mother-
board connectors from which the replaced housing cables were removed.

Each cable connector is keyed to prevent incorrect cable insertion.

7.

Tighten the two captive knurled screws with a Phillips screwdriver until the
dual-fan housing is firmly secured to the fan-mounting bracket.
