Themis Computer
The RES-32XEL front panel provides access to two removable Ultra320 SCSI hard-
disk drives, one fixed Ultra320 SCSI hard-disk drive or 1.44-MB 3.5” floppy-disk
drive (mounts in the same location) a combination CD-RW/DVD-ROM slimline
drive, the system power switch and LEDs, and a reset switch (see
Figure 1-3 ; rack-
mounting brackets are not shown ). The rear panel contains the I/O faceplates for the
graphics, RAID, and PCI cards, two AC power supplies with power-cord sockets,
and all I/O connectors.
Major features are described in Table 1-1 on page 1-4. Major internal components
can be seen in the open top view (cover removed) of Figure 1-4 on page 1-5.
