• Do not overreach. Move the ladder!
• Have one hand on the ladder at all times.
• Use a line to take up tools rather than carrying
them.
• Be just as careful on a short stepladder as you
would be on a 30 foot extension ladder. False
security can lead to carelessness and falls which
can cause serious injuries, even death.
