Unpack & Inspect
You should have:
• 1 Radiator
• 4 Wall brackets sleeves
• 4 Wall brackets studs
• 1 Blanking Plug
• Air vent
Using a suitable drill bit, screws and plugs, loosely fix the top two
brackets sleeves onto the wall where marked using the dimensions in
section 3, (refer to diagrams opposite) and level with a spirit level.
Offer up the radiator to the sleeves to ensure they are in the correct
position. If the radiator is in the correct position, hold the radiator
and mark the position for the bottom brackets.
Remove the radiator and fix the two bottom sleeves onto the wall.
Offer up the radiator again and slot the radiator into the bracket
sleeves.
Once the radiator is in the correct position, firmly fix the radiator by
tightening the grub screws on the side of the brackets.

only select models with excellent standards of welding and
brazing, as well as high quality finishes.
All of our products are well packaged and should reach you
in perfect condition. Just in case however, we offer a minimum
5-year no quibble guarantee for all radiators and towel rails.
The Radiator Company must be notified of
any shortages or damage within 28 days of
delivery. For further information please see
terms and conditions on back page.
Firstly attach the bracket studs to the back of the radiator (shown in
diagram)
The fixing positions for the two top brackets are measured at 72mm
down from the top of the collector and measured 17.5mm in from the
side (brackets are positioned on the collector, please see diagram
opposite).
In order to accurately mark the bottom bracket fixing positions we
recommend you mark, fix and level the two top brackets first. Then
hang the radiator, ensuring it is vertically level and manually hold the
bottom brackets in position while marking.
PLEASE NOTE :
It is essential that all brackets are level to
ensure a vertical alignment for connecting the
pipe work.

Please Note:
In accordance with Part L1 2006 of the Building Regulations and
BS7593:1992 code of practice for the treatment of hot water
and central heating systems, we strongly recommend flushing
the heating system post installation of new radiators and then
adding the correct quantity and type of inhibitor for use with
your radiator and system to prevent corrosion. Damage caused
to systems not protected by a suitable inhibitor will not be
covered by manufacturer’s guarantee.

Removing Diverter
23
Before installation of your BDO 25 the diverter needs to be removed.
To check the position of the diverter, remove the end caps and
look down the collector. You should not be able to see any light if a
diverter is present.
If a diverter is present, using a long screwdriver knock out the
diverter, then securely close the end caps before installation.
