2. ASSEMBLY (WHERE NECESSARY)
The Maximo was pre-delivery inspected and tested prior to dispatch. The batteries may have been disconnected
for delivery purposes only.
The Maximo should have been delivered to you in a ready to ride condition, however if for whatever reason it was
delivered in a carton please take the following action.
Remove all the items from the carton and strip the protective packaging materials off each item. Returns are only
accepted when the product is shipped in the original cartons with the original packing material installed. In order
to fit in the carton, the scooter will be folded. Simply lay down the carton and slide the Maximo out.
Care! Warning
The Maximo is easy to drive but it is essential that you familiarise yourself with the controls and learn to drive it in
a safe area with sufficient room to manoeuver for your safety and that of others. The area should be free of
obstacles and reasonably flat. Mark a practice course for straight line driving, turning in confined spaces, reversing
and driving around obstacles.
3. OPENING & FOLDING THE MAXIMO
To open the Maximo first pull the red lever located on the left (as shown below)
Then stand to the side of the Maximo place one hand on the tiller and lift away from the seat
