4.0 DEPLOYMENT OF BlitzForce PORTABLE MONITOR
It is the responsibility of the individual fi re department or agency to determine physical capabilities and suitability for an individual’s
use of this equipment.
4.1 CARRYING WITH AN UNCHARGED HOSE
On a preconnected hoseline the monitor may be carried by the T-shaped handle or over the shoulder with the legs folded as
illustrated in fi gure 4.1.

4.2 CARRYING WITH A CHARGED HOSE
On a charged hose the BlitzForce Portable Monitor may be carried by holding the T-shaped handle located on top of valve body
as shown in fi gure 4.3. Shut-off valve handle should be locked in the closed position to keep the valve from inadvertently opening.
4.3 PRESSURE GAGE PORT
There is a 1/8” NPT female threaded hole on the back of the inlet
casting. The holes are plugged from the factory. If a pressure
gage is desired, unscrew the plug and install the gage using pipe
sealant. Make sure the gage does not interfere with operation.
