10. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and com-
ponents which can be recycled and reused.
• Once the alarm starts to ring, you can activate the snooze function by
pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
• The light turns on for a short time.
• The alarm will be interrupted for 5 minutes.
• The snooze function can be activated up to seven times.
• Slide the ALARM/ON/OFF switch downwards (OFF) to deactivate the alarm.
• The red alarm symbol disappears beside the number three.
7.5 Backlight
• Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button and the light turns on for 5 seconds.
• Move the switch SENSOR ON/OFF upwards (ON), the light turns on auto-
matically as soon as the light sensor (under the number six) registers
darkness.
8. Care and maintenance
• Clean the instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use the device for a long period of
time.
• Keep the device in a dry place.
8.1 Battery replacement
• Change the batteries when the functions of the device become weak.
• Open the battery compartment and insert two new batteries 1.5 V AAA,
polarity as illustrated.
• Close the battery compartment again.
