METEO MAX
- Wireless weather station
• Check the transmission of 433 MHz signal from the transmitter to the Display Unit (transmission range 30 m free field).
Within ferro-concrete rooms (basements, superstructures), the received signal is naturally weakened.
• If necessary chose another position for transmitter and/or display unit.
• Fix the transmitter by using plastic hanger.
10. Care and maintenance
• Clean the instruments with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries, if you do not use the products for a long period of time.
• Keep the instruments in a dry place.
10.1 Battery replacement
• Change the batteries when the low battery symbol appears on the display of the basic station or the outdoor transmitters.
• Open the battery compartments . Make sure the polarities are correct. Close the battery compartment again.
•
Please note:
When the batteries are changed, the contact between outdoor transmitter and basic station must be restored
– so always insert new batteries into both units or start a manual outdoor transmitter search.

8. Outdoor transmitter
• The sensor will automatically transmit temperature to the weather station after batteries are inserted.
• Press
°C/°F
button on the outdoor transmitter unit to change the temperature unit on the sensor display from °C to °F.
• Press
TX
button on the outdoor transmitter unit to transmit temperature to the weather station manually (e.g. for testing or
in case of loss of transmitter signal). The weather station gives a “beep” sound if it received the temperature.
• After successful installation screw up the battery compartment of transmitter carefully.
8.1 Additional transmitters
• The weather station allows you to add up to 3 transmitters. For having more than one external transmitter (maximum 3),
select the
CHANNEL
, CH1, CH2 or CH3 to ensure each sensor is transmitting different channels. The new transmitter will be
received automatically by the main unit.
• Press
CHANNEL
button to change between the outdoor transmitters CH1, 2 or 3.
• For alternating channel display choose
symbol.
• To cancel an unused channel hold
CHANNEL
button for 3 seconds. If a new channel is received it will be automatically
registered again.
8.2 Use of cable sensor
• By use of the 1.5m cable sensor you can measure the temperature of liquids and you can avoid breakdowns when the out-
door temperature is continuously below -20 °C or 50°C.
9. Positioning of display unit and transmitter
• Choose a shady and dry position for the transmitter. (Direct sunshine falsifies the measurement and continuous humidity
strains the electronic components needlessly)
• Place the Display Unit at the final position. Avoid the vicinity of any interfering field like computer monitors or TV sets and
solid metal objects.
