2. Connect seat cable to tractor harness
CAUTION: Seat switch is part of the
tractor's safety system and should
never be disabled. Verify that the seat
switch operates properly.
a. Start engine.
b. Depress neutral latch L. The engine must
stop when the operator leaves the seat.
c. Take foot off forward/reverse foot pedal F.
DEpress PTO switch P to power decks. The
engine must stop when the operator leaves
the seat.
FINAL PREPARATION
• Make sure all tractor and cutter deck tyre
pressures are set to 1 kg/cm
2 (14 psi). Tyres
may be overinflated for shipping.
Before starting the machine:
•
Read and understand all safety instructions at
the begining of this manual.
• Check battery electrolyte level and charge.
Use protective equipment such as, but not
limited to, goggles, face shield, rubber gloves
and apron.
• Fill the fuel tank with diesel fuel.
• Chech and top up the engine sump with
engine oil as required.
• Check and top up the radiator with a 50%
antifreeze solution as required.
• Check and top up the hydraulic system with oil
as required.
• Check all points for lubrication (refer to the
lubrication section in this manual.
