3. Operation
- This mechanical tool is equipped with a crimping force adjust screw (Pos. 1). Prior to
adjust the screw the counter nut at the end of the non moveable handle must be
loosened. Turning the slotted-head screw clockwise increases the crimping force,
turning it counter clockwise decreases the crimping force. Afterwards the counter nut
must be locked again.
- This tool serves to terminate insulated connectors of 3 crimping ranges: red 0,5-1
mm², blue 1,5-2,5 mm², yellow 4-6 mm².
- Crimping of barrel and insulation is made in 1 cycles.
- The tool incorporates a stripping device for wires ranging from 0,5 to 6 mm².
- This tool can cut copper and aluminium strands.
- Pull release lever (Pos. 2) after completing the crimp.
Attention
Do not use on live electrical circuits.
Before starting to crimp please make sure that all parts involved in the crimping process
are not energised.
4. Maintenance
The crimping tool has to be cleaned thoroughly and the bolt joints have to be oiled
regularly.
