Load the MM7035638-102 Epic Options Software to turn on the CMF Function.

A.

Connect external power to the airplane.

(1)

Turn the EXT PWR, L AVN, R AVN, and EICAS to the ON position.

(2)

Make sure that the Left and Right Glareshield fans are ON.

B.

Connect the laptop computer to the LAN.

(1)

Remove the access panel on the pedestal control panel.

(2)

Remove the 50 ohm terminator.

(3)

Connect the coaxial cable to the computer.

(4)

Connect the 50 ohm terminator to the end of the coaxial cable.

C.

Install the MM7035638-102 Epic Software Options disk into the computer.

(1)

Click on the START Menu.

(2)

Make a selection of the Aircraft Diagnostics.

(3)

(Refer to Figure 2.) Use the computer mouse to make a selection of the DATA LOADER,
use the mouse to left click on that selection.

(4)

(Refer to Figure 3.) Make sure that the DLS Installation Function page comes into view.

(5)

(Refer to Figure 4.) Make sure that the PRE-LOADING DMU/CDROM DRIVES - DONE comes
into view.

NOTE:

The message will show in the lower center of the page, on the computer, when all
of the system drives are found.

(6)

(Refer to Figure 4.) Use the computer mouse to select and click FULL LOAD found at the
bottom of the display.

(7)

(Refer to Figure 5.) Scroll down and click on the (DR-PN) TT7035638-102 software.

Click on the directory

(Refer to Figure 6.) Click on the SELECT FILE on the bottom of the screen.

(10) (Refer to Figure 7.) Make sure the con

guration test is in progress.

(11) (Refer to Figure 8.) When the con

guration test is complete, click on the START LOAD button

on the bottom of the screen.

(12) Select the Main Menu tab after the load is complete.

D.

Install the GDC AMI software disk into the laptop computer.

(1)

(Refer to Figure 2.) Use the computer mouse to make a selection of the DATA LOADER,
use the mouse to left click on that selection.

(2)

(Refer to Figure 3.) Make sure that the DLS Installation Function page comes into view.

(3)

(Refer to Figure 4.) Make sure that the PRE-LOADING DMU/CDROM DRIVES-DONE comes
into view.
