Safety Regulations
When working with the machine, wear tight-fitting clothing, robust working
gloves, ear protectors and shoes with non-slip soles.
Gasoline is highly flammable so always take care when filling. Do not top up
gasoline in the vicinity of naked flames, burning cigarettes or similar. Wipe up
spilt gasoline carefully.
Always turn off the machine before leaving it or fitting/removing accessories.
Always check that nuts and bolts are tight. Do not use the leaf blower if it is not
correctly assembled.
Clean your hands thoroughly after coming into contact with spilt fuel or oil.
Do not store the machine near potential sources of fire.
Note that the blower tube and impeller can become blocked when clogged with
wet leaves or grass.
Wear a dust mask as dust can irritate the airways (enclosed space).
WARNING
: This is a 2-stroke engine. Use only the recommended mixture 40:1.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not smoke when fuelling or using the machine.
The exhaust becomes hot, so avoid contact with the exhaust during use. Do not
touch the spark plug or lead to the spark plug cap during use.
Do not use the leaf blower in an enclosed room/space. The exhaust gas can
cause intoxication.
Never point the blower tube towards people or animals while the machine is in
use. Never use the blower function to blow foreign bodies towards other people
or animals.
Do not use the leaf blower unless the blower tubes is fitted correctly.
Do not use the leaf blower without fitting the dust bag first.
Be careful where you place the leaf blower down after it has been running. The
hot exhaust can ignite dry leafs and similar.
Do not run the leaf blower for long periods. Allow the machine to cool down in
between.
The leaf blower should only be used by fit, healthy persons. If you get tired,
take frequent breaks. Never use the machine after drinking alcohol.
WARNING
: Use only original accessories and spares. Fitting unauthorised
parts can be dangerous and is therefore illegal. The manufacturer waives all
liability in the case of accident or other damage caused by the fitting of non-
original parts.
Do not suck up fluids with this device such as flammable fluids, e.g. gasoline.
Do not use the device close to such fluids.
Avoid wearing loose clothing, scarves, necklaces or similar.
Do not add fuel to an engine while running. Always leave the engine to cool
down for at least 5 minutes before refilling fuel.
