Mulching (only model MP46TR / MP46TR/W)
When using mulching, the mulching plug needs to be
fitted into the rear discharge hole.
Notice, that when using mulching, the collector box must
always be dismounted.
The rear discharge guard will go down at keep the
mulching plug in place.
Cable adjustment (only model MP46TR / MP46TR/W)
The clutch cable for selfpropelled function can be
adjusted on this model. It is used if wheel drive problems
occur or if rear wheels blocks when machine is pulled backwards.
If you experience that the wheel drive doesn’t work properly
e.g. after some hours use (when belt gets worn a little), it can
be solved easily simply by adjusting the metal bolt on the middle
of the cable along handlebar (fig. 1).
Follow below instructions:
1. Loosen the clutch handlebar (
fig. 2
).
(it makes it easier to turn around the adjustment bolt)
2. Turn the big lower metal bolt (
a
) up/down to loosen/tighten
the cable:
- clockwise tighten the cable
- counter clockwise loosen the cable
Usually it will be necessary to tighten the cable.
3. Move the small bolt (
b
) down so it locks the big bolt in place.
4. Fit the clutch handle again and check if adjustment is perfect.
A cable can eventually become loose and need to be
tightened. Repeat above procedure, if that happens.
Engine brake cable can be adjusted on engine.
Height adjustment
The lawn mower comes with central height adjustment.
Use the handle near the right rear wheel to adjust the cutting height.
