Introduction
The TUSB564 device is a USB Type-C™ / VESA
®
DisplayPort™ (DP) alternate mode redriving switch
supporting USB data rates up to 5 Gbps for a USB Type-C upstream facing port (UFP).

The TUSB564RNQ EVM can be used with an Alternate mode USB Type-C source such as the TUSB1046
EVM and/or USB or DisplayPort USB Type-C Host system to evaluate the USB Type-C implementation.

The TUSB564RNQ EVM has a legacy Type-A USB receptacle to connect to a USB hub or device and a
DisplayPort receptacle to connect to DisplayPort sink. The EVM uses TI's TPS65986 device for USB
Type-C PD control and to configure the TUSB564.
