Using the TMP112Software

5.2.1

Reading from Registers

When first starting the TMP112EVM software, the user must confirm stable connections to the test board
by toggling the

Read All Reg

button (shown in

). If all devices are communicating correctly, the

user then sees the temperature change over time in the TMP112

Temperature

box. By toggling the

Auto-

Read

button, the temperature is automatically refreshed at the rate specified in the

Conversion Rate

pull-

down menu. The conversion rate can only be changed when

Auto-Read

is turned off.
