The device starts in play mode.
There is a gain ramp transitioning
from PLAY to MUTE mode that
takes about 90 ms. MUTE mode is
Reached when register 0x06 is 0x0F.
There is a common mode ramp
transitioning from MUTE to
LOW-LOW mode that takes about
30 ms. LOW-LOW mode is reached when
register 0x05 is 0xF0. The device
will remain in LOW-LOW for 5 ms before
continuing.
Hi-Z mode is reached when
register 0x05 is 0x0F.

Using the Device to Stop Playing Musing
The device requires one command to place all channels into hi-Z mode from play mode. The device still
executes several ramps and transitions during the process as in
. If desired by the user, the
device can also be commanded to any state separately but this command is not required.
The register values shown in
are for all four channels. If any channels do not follow this
sequence the values must be adjusted accordingly.
