Disk Memory System
CATALOG DISK - Choose this option to get a catalog of all the
programs and data files on the disk. When you choose it. the following
screen appears.

Choose the disk drive containing the diskette that you want cataloged.
As
soon
as
you enter the disk drive number. the diskette's name is
filled in. and the following appears.

If you choose 1. SCREEN. the listing appears on the monitor screen.
If
there
are
too many lines to fit on the screen. press and hold the
Space
Bar
until the lines stop scrolling. (Press and hold the
Space Bar
once
more to start scrolling again.)
If you choose 2. SOLID STATE PRINTER. the entire catalog is prtnted
on the Thermal Printer connected to the computer.
If you choose 3. RS232 INTERFACE. the entire catalog
is
transferred to
the RS232 Interface with default parameters. From there it may go to a
line printer. through a modem. or to whatever device Is connected to
RS232 Interface. See the RS232 Interface Manual for more Information
on Its use.
If you choose
4.
OTHER. the prompt DEVICE NAME appears. You may
then choose any device and file that you could choose if you were using
the TI BASIC command OPEN. For example. you could enter
DSKl.CATLIST. and the catalog wouid be put on the diskette in Disk
Drive One under the file name CATLIST.

The characters after DISKN AME are the name you gave the diskette.
The number shown after AVAILABLE
is
the number of sectors that are
available for use. The number shown after USED is the number of
sectors that
are
being used to store data and programs plus the number
of sectors that are not usable. The used and available sectors total 358
(or 313).
