Equipment Setup
1. Set PS#1 for 5 V
±
100 mVdc, 1.7

0.1-A current limit and then turn off supply. Connect the output of
PS#1 to J1 (DC+, DC

2. If simulated battery circuit is used in place of a battery, set the PS#2 for 3.5 V

100 mVdc, 1.8

3. Connect the battery (discharged to ~3.1 V) or simulated battery load to J2 as shown in

simulated load is used, connect the output of PS#2 (+ lead) to the anode of the simulated load and

5. Connect digital multimeter 1 (DMM#1) across J2 (BAT+, GND), and set to measure DCV (5-V range).

port of the computer. The connections are shown in

9. Install jumpers JMP1-2/3 (CD, GND); JMP2-1/2 (PSEL, HI); JMP3-1/2 (LED); JMP4-2/3 (TS_4.7k,
