19. Do not split two logs or more at a time, as they may turn over and create danger.
20. Never place an other log on the machine before it has finished with the previous
log. This may create great danger.
21. When using the machine other persons and animals should be kept at a distance of
at least 5 meters.
22. Never tamper with the protection of the log splitter and never use it without its
protection.
23. Never force to splitter to split very hard wood with the cylinder under pressure for
more than 5 seconds. Over heated oil under pressure may damage the machine.
Stop machine ant try again after having turned the log 90 degrees. If the log is still
not split it means the wood is too hard for the machine. Do not try again.
24. Never leave the machine unattended. Stop the machine and remove the power cord
from the switch when you leave the machine.
25. Do not use the machine in areas with gas, gasoline or other kinds of flammables
are present.
26. Always check that the electric power supply is identical to the one on the symbol
and that the electric circuit is well protected and grounded.
27. Never open the switch box or protective shield for the engine. If that is necessary
contact an electrician or your local dealer.
28. Make sure that the machine and the cable is not in contact with water. The power
cable must be treated with care. Do not pull the cable, when removing it from the
switch. Keep the cable away from heat, oil and sharp parts.
4. Electrical connections
Connect the main lead to a standard electric outlet, which equals the specification listed on
the type tag/name plate.

Interference with the electric system, can be dangerous, always contact a qualified

Extension leads
If an extension cable is to be used, always make sure water proof cables are used and
that the connector is kept well clear of any water.
Since the cable will produce a voltage drop, that will prevent the engine from supplying full
power and reduce the machine’s function, it is essential that the conductors in the cable
conform the following specifications.
0-20 meters - diameter of conductor - 1,5 mm
