You may delete shots in playback mode or via the playback 
menu (see page 75).
The quickest way to delete an individual shot is with the 

 

button in playback mode.

 

Select the shot in playback mode and press the

ton. 

 

The “

Delete

” query appears on the screen. Using the

 buttons, select the entry you wish to “

delete

”.

OK

 to confi rm the query. To cancel the function,

 and confi rm again by pressing

The next image is shown on the display.

NOTE!

Protected data cannot be deleted. In this case, the 
“

File protected

” message appears on the display.

If a memory card is inserted, you can only delete 
the fi les on the memory card.
If the memory card is protected, you cannot de-
lete the fi les on the card.
You cannot restore a fi le that has been deleted. 
With this in mind, exercise caution when deleting 
fi les.
