Care and cleaning
Clean your iTeufel Radio v2 regularly with a soft, damp
microfi bre cloth. In the process, be absolutely sure to
observe the following notes:

Risk of electric shock!
In contact with live parts, water can lead to
electric shock or short circuit.
Ensure that no liquid penetrates the unit.

Before cleaning, disconnect the mains adapter.

Risk of damage
!
Using the wrong cleaning materials may dam-
age the delicate surface of the case.
If possible use only plain water with no cleaning prod-

ucts. In case of stubborn marks, a mild soap solution
may be used.
In no circumstances should caustic cleaning products,
•
white spirit, thinners, petrol or similar be used for
cleaning.

The following instructions should help you to solve problems. If this doesn‘t work, please contact our hotline (see page 3).

The device doesn’t work,
the display is dark.
No power supply.
Check that the mains adapter is seated
properly.
Check that the socket is functioning properly
by connection another device to it.
The speakers produce no
sound.
Wrong source selected.
Select the correct audio source.
“Mute” is activated.
Press the button

“Snooze/Mute“ or in-
crease the volume.
Earphones are connected.
Pull the earphones out of the jack. The speak-
ers are deactivated when earphones are
connected.
Poor reception.
Try to improve the reception by adjusting the direction of the antenna.
Find the optimal setting for the station using buttons

and/or

“Tune +/–”.
iPod does not play.
iPod was not inserted properly.
Check whether the dock adapter and the
iPod have been inserted properly.
iPod malfunction.
Take the iPod out of the dock and check
whether the iPod works with earphones. You
will fi nd notes on resetting the iPod in the
instructions for your iPod or on the website
www.apple.com.
