Menu function
Using the menu
Push the button • 75 SETUP.
The setup menu will appear.
Navigate within the menus with the arrow buttons

and
57 .
Access the submenu with the button • 56 OK in the right
column.
With the button
• 56 OK, confi rm the selection in the
submenu and leave the submenu.
Push the button
• 75 SETUP again. The setup menu will
disappear.

Misc • : Reset factory setting
Language
Language 1.
Set the language of the setup menu.
“English” sets the language to English (factory set- –
ting).
“German” sets the language to German.

Subtitles 2.
Set the preferred language for DVD subtitles.
“English” sets the default language to –
“English” (factory setting).
“German” sets the default language to “German”.

“Auto” sets the default language according to the –
DVD.
“Off” deactivates the subtitles.

DivX subtitle 3.
Set the preferred character format for the subtitles of a
DivX DVD.
“ASCII” sets the preferred character format to ASCII. –
(factory setting)
“Unicode” sets the preferred character format to
–
unicode.
“Western European” sets the preferred character
–
format to Western European.
“Central European” sets the preferred character
–
format to Central European.
“sloven.cyrillic” sets the preferred character format
–
to Slovenian/Cyrillic.
Audio 4.
Set the preferred language of a DVD. Depending on
the DVD, another language may be used.
