Scope of Delivery
Applying the Orthosis
1.
Determine the shoe size of the patient
and select the size of the orthosis
accordingly.
2.
For the initial fitting the patient should
be seated and have his knee bent at an
angle of approximately 90° (fig. 1).
3.
Once the lower leg and the foot have
been positioned correctly in the or-
thosis, the length of both calf straps
and the according tibia pads can be
adjusted individually. To acchieve a
good fit the lower calf strap should
be closed befor the upper calf strap.
Be careful not to over-tighten the
straps in order not to disturb blood
circulation (fig. 2a/b).
