4.1 Putting in the battery
1 Open battery compartment at the back of the instrument.
2 Insert 9V block battery. /- is correct.
3 Close battery compartment.

Switch on meter: press

- All segments light up briefly and the meter switches to the
measurement mode (measurement range 50 - 100dB).
