MAINTENANCE 

 

Ski lift harness system maintenance 

 

Regularly  spray  over  the  snap  hook  (1)  with  a  silicone  based 
lubricant. 

 

Maintenance program of the Scarver 

Our sitskis are known for their superior quality and reliability. It’s 
one of our priorities to keep this level high. 
 
However,  as any  mechanical  equipment,  it’s  necessary  to pay  attention  on  it.  Especially  in 
our use, the mechanic is put to a severe test. It’s hard to make a maintenance plan because 
the  frequency  of  use  and  the  level  of  solicitation  of  the  equipment  is  always  different  from 
one user to another.    
However, 

we’re advising to bring us back or send us back the Scarver:  

- 

Every 500 hours for a normal use (beginners to good skiers)  

- 

Every 300 hours for an advanced use (v

ery good skiers, competitors, freeriders…) 

If  it’s  impossible  to  bring  us  back  the  equipment,  the  maintenance  has  to  be  done  by  a 
mechanic professional.   

We remain at your disposal to give you the necessary mechanical advices.  

 
Between each mechanical check explained above, we recommend a regular maintenance of 
the 

SCARVER™ by following the board bellow.

exclusively  be  serviced  by  Öhlins  France,  a

each season in case of intensive use, or in case 
of observation of a wrong running

each  side  of  the  four  spherical  plain  bearing  rod 

end

those  parts  might  wear  and  get  some  little 
clearance.  
If  the  clearance  becomes  excessive,  the 
spherical  plain  bearing  rod  ends  have  to  be 
changed. The setting of the edging system has to 
be  done  again  when  we  change  those  parts,
