 Do not use abrasives or abrasive cleaners.
 Do not use sharp objects inside the cooking container to keep the non-stick teflon layer as
long as possible.
Trouble Shooting
Problem Possible cause Solution
The appliance not working. Not plugged in. Check that appliance is
plugged in correctly.
The On/Off switch is not fully
pressed down. Press on the On/Off switch
You have press down the
On/Off switch but still not
working. Close the lid.
The motor is working but
aplliance does not heat. Contact TESLA service
department.
The mixing paddle does not
turn. Check that the mixing paddle
is correctly positioned. If the
problem continues contact
TESLA service department.
The food is not evenly
cooked. The mixing paddle is not
been installed. Put the mixing paddle into
the appliance.
The mixing paddle has been
installed properly but it does
not turn. Verify that the mixing paddle
has snapped into place on
the centerline when fitted.
The ingredients were not cut
into equal sized pieces. Cut the ingredients into the
same sized pieces.
French fries are not crispy. The potatoes are not well
washed or sufficiently dried. Wash the potatoes well to get
rid of the starch and dry them
well, they must be completely
dry. Try a different variety of
potatoes.
The fries are too thick. Cut the potatoes into smaller
pieces.
A small amount of oil relative
to the number of chips. Add more oil.
French fries broke during
cooking. The potatoes are made from
fresh harvest and therefore
contain more water. Reduce the quantity of chips
to 800 g and adjust the
cooking time.
The food remains on the
edge of the cooking
container. The cooking container is
overfilled. Follow the recommended
amount for cooking.
The cooking fluids came to
the base of the appliance. The mixing paddle is not
properly attached or its seal
is damaged. Put the mixing paddle into
the appliance or contact the
TESLA service department.
