NEVER

If an obstruction occurs during cleaning:

operate the cleaner with damaged filters or with a filter missing

Use approved filters and regularly clean and replace them.

Turn the cleaner OFF and unplug. Check the dust level. Empty the dust cup. Check

the hose and the tubes for blockage and clear these manually following the instructions previously given..

When you have finished Vacuuming:

Switch the cleaner off and unplug from the mains.

Empty the dust cup and clean the dust cup filters

Wipe the cleaner body with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do NOT allow water or liquids to penetrate the vacuum cleaner.
This could be dangerous.

Store the cleaner safely out of the reach of children and pets.

The cleaner can be stored upright on its base with the hose and accessories disconnected and separately stored. Although the
cleaner may be stored fully assembled with the brush in the parked position this is not recommended.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF SWITCH

There is a safety switch inside the cleaner to prevent the unit from being run with too high a vacuum rate. If the airways or filters get
clogged the pressure in the cleaner will be excessive and the safety switch will be turned on. The cleaner then will stop working to
protect the motor from overheating.

If this happens switch off and unplug the cleaner

Allow the motor to cool down for one hour and clean the airways and

filters thoroughly. Plug the cleaner in again and switch on: the cleaner should now operate normally.

immediately.

NOTE: Repeated and excessive use of the cleaner in a blocked or semi-blocked state may cause the motor to fail
permanently.
