Unplug the fan when not in use, before moving it
between locations and before cleaning,

To disconnect, grip the plug and pull from wall
outlet. Never yank on the power cord.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
The use of attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer may be hazardous.
Warning: Do NOT use this fan with any solid
state voltage regulator or speed control.
Always use on a dry, level and stable surface
when operating to avoid overturning.
Do not mount this fan on a table or elevated
stand.
Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall or
ceiling.
Never use the fan improperly assembled or
without the guard correctly fitted.
Do not insert any object into the fan whether the
fan is running or not.
Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
This product is intended solely for household use
Before using this appliance ensure that the voltage
of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated
on the appliance.
The means of disconnecting this appliance from the
mains supply is the mains plug. This should be
unobstructed and readily operable at all times .
The appliance cord is terminated with a UK
approved mains plug fitted with a 3A fuse. If
Class II construction double insulated. This
product must not be connected to earth.

BS1362 fuse rated at 3A must be used.
If you need to change the fuse in a non-rewireable
plug, the fuse cover must be fitted. If the fuse cover is
lost or damaged the appliance must not be used
until a suitable cover is obtained and fitted. It is
important that the fuse cover fitted corresponds with
the colour marking on the base of the plug.
If you need to change the mains plug, remove the
fuse and dispose of the old plug safely immediately
after cutting it from the cord.
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the code:
NEUTRAL,
LIVE
As these colours may not correspond to the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:

INTRODUCTION
UNPACKING
ASSEMBLY
Before using this appliance please read all these
notes and instructions carefully and famliarise
yourself with the features of your new appliance. In
particular, please study the assembly instructions
before assembling your tower fan.
Unpack all the items carefully and remove all plastic
wrappings from the component parts.
Check the fan carefully. If any items are damaged or
missing, please return the appliance for
replacement to the store you purchased it from, or to
your nearest Tesco store. Remember to take your
receipt.
Retain the packing, or if you decide to dispose of it,
make sure that you do so with due regard to any
recycling provisions currently in force.
For ease of assembly, lay the Fan down so that
the front grill and control panel are facing up.
Identify the two base sections
and .
Remove the four screws attached to the support
pillars in Section A and keep them safe
Thread the Power Cord through the centre of the
support base section A.
Align the two Base sections by interlocking the
guides on Base A with the support pillars on Base B.
Push them firmly together.
Attach the four screws screws into the four
holes in the pillars at the bottom of the base.
Note the position of the power cord.
Remove the four screws in the base of the
fan column and save them
Align the support base assembly with the
column support assembly
Ensure that the cord channel on the bottom of
the support base faces the rear of the fan.
Ensure that the power cord is routed away from
the oscillating mechanism at the base of the
fan so that the cord is not damaged and does
not prevent the fan from oscillating.
Attach the support base assembly to the
column support assembly with the four screws.
Place the cord in the wire trough in the base.
The power cord is protected by a length of
plastic sleeve. Push the cord under the strain
relief in the back of the base. The sleeve should
protrude just beyond the fan support base.
