Important safety instructions
When operating your blender
• Always operate the blender on
a flat surface.
• Do not place your hand in the
blender jug. The sharp blade
may cause injury. Use a plastic
or wooden spatula.
• Never insert any hard object
or implement into the blender
jug when it is operating. This
may cause damage to the
appliance and personal injury.
• Do not place meat containing
bones or fruits with large hard
stones in the blender jug.
• Do not use with hot liquids.
• Do not subject the jug to
thermal shock, i.e. pouring a
very hot liquid into a cold jug.
• If the blender gets clogged,
switch off and unplug
the power cord from the
mains before clearing the
obstruction. Check carefully
for damage.
• The maximum capacity of the
blender is 1500ml/48 fl.oz.
Never exceed this capacity.
• Do not operate the blender
with a damaged cord or
plug or after the appliance
or any attachment has been
damaged.
• Do not use the blender for any
purpose not specified in this
manual.
Electrical information
• Before using this appliance
ensure that the voltage of your
electricity supply is the same
as that indicated on the rating
plate of the appliance.
