OPERATION
Using the hand blender
Introduce the blender into the food before switching it on to
avoid splashing.
Press and hold down the appropriate button to switch the
blender on. Release the button to switch the unit off.
Use the slow speed where possible especially when you
commence blending or if you are smoothing out lumps or
reducing food to a puree. The high speed can be used as a
finishing touch or when a particularly fine mix is needed.
WARRANTY
Your TESCO appliance is warranted for 12 months from the
date of purchase. If a fault develops during this period, please
return the unit to your nearest Tesco store together with the
original receipt as proof of purchase. This warranty in no way
affects your consumer rights.

Store the blender in a dry cupboard or safe storage area

out of the reach of children.
Caution: Blades are very sharp, handle with care.
NEVER use the blender in a vessel while it is being heated on
the stove.
NEVER let the base of the blade housing come into prolonged
contact with the body of a vessel while blending.
Switch off and unplug the appliance after use or when
adding or removing ingredients.
AFTER USE
Unplug the appliance after use.
Disassemble the appliance into its component parts.

Wash the blender stem under running water, without the
•
use of abrasive cleaners or detergents. Do not use pointed
or sharp objects to remove food particles from under the
blade. Do not immerse the stem in water because over
time the lubrication on the bearings will deteriorate.
After cleaning the detachable stem, place it upright to
•
drain.
Never place any blender component in the dishwasher.
•
Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it
•
in water for cleaning - DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
Some highly coloured food (e.g. Carrots) may discolour the
•
plastic. Rubbing the affected area with a cloth moistened
with vegetable oil will help remove any staining.
Reassemble the blender when the stem is dry.
