Your radio includes a dual alarm function. Two separate alarm 
times can be set - Alarm 1 and Alarm 2. 
During the setting process, each alarm can be preset with a 
wake-up time, a DAB preset, an FM station, a buzzer tone and 
alarm volume level. Once these settings have been completed, 
the  alarm(s)  may  be  activated  and  you  can  choose  your 
preferred wake-up options of DAB, FM or Buzzer.

SETTING THE ALARMS

Press and

the alarm you want.
Using

 or   buttons, set your preferences for each 

alarm setting in the list below.
Press the

SELECT

 button to move onto the next setting.

ALARM FUNCTIONS

ACTIVATING THE ALARM(S)

Once the alarm settings have been completed, the alarms must 
be activated when required.

Press  the 

• 

ALARM  1

  or 

ALARM  2

  button  repeatedly  to 

activate the alarm to wake you and to choose a wake-up 
mode from DAB, FM or Buzzer.

The alarm time and alarm mode settings will be displayed.
When  an  alarm  is  activated,  the  Alarm  1  and/or  Alarm  2 
indicator will be displayed.

SLEEP MODE

The Sleep function allows you to program your radio to switch 
off automatically after a set period in the range 90, 80, 70, 60, 
30, 20, 10 minutes.

To activate the Sleep function

Press the 

• 

SLEEP

 button repeatedly until you have set the 

sleep time you want.

The sleep time set will be displayed.
Your radio will continue to play, then will set to Standby when 
the sleep time expires.

To check the Sleep time remaining

Press the 

• 

SLEEP

 button during Sleep mode.

The remaining sleep time will be displayed.

To cancel Sleep mode

Press  the 

• 

SLEEP

  button  repeatedly  until  ‘Sleep  Off’  is 

displayed.

Sleep mode will be cancelled.

WHEN THE ALARM SOUNDS

To switch off the alarm

Press the

ALARM 1

 or

 ALARM 2

 button to switch off the 

alarm when it sounds.

To extend the alarm for a further ‘snooze’

Press the 

• 

SNOOZE

 button.

The alarm will switch off for the snooze period of 5 minutes and 
the display will show the ‘Zz’ Snooze indicator..

After the snooze period, the alarm will sound again. You can switch 

off the alarm in the normal way or you can set snooze again.
