Removing the built-in rechargeable battery

− If you do not have any experience 

handling tools, have someone, who is 
capable of removing the rechargeable 
battery properly, do so.

 

WARNING!

Fire hazard!

Improper handling of the rechargeable bat-
tery may cause it to overheat and explode.

 

− When removing the rechargeable bat-

tery, make sure it is not damaged. 

 

− Do not disassemble the rechargeable 

battery once it is removed.

 

− Never short circuit the rechargeable 

battery. The contacts on the removed 
rechargeable battery must not be con-
nected with metallic objects. 

 

− Only remove the rechargeable battery 

in order to dispose of the device.  
Removing the rechargeable battery will 
destroy the device. Do not put a disman-
tled device back into service.

 and charge a connected device until the 

rechargeable battery is completely discharged.
