Safety Instructions
TERO - USER’S GUIDE
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
1.
Read all instructions before using your Tero device.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock
do not put the
Tero unit in water or other liquid.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by children or
by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. Close
supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near
children. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
4. Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when
not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and
before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from
the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts.
6. Do not operate an appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
or after the appliance has malfunctioned, has been

facturer are not recommended, it might result in fire,
electric shock or injury.

10. The blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
11. To reduce the risk of injury, never place the blades in the
device without first putting the bucket properly in place.
12. Make sure that the cover is securely locked in place before
operating the appliance.
13. Do not attempt to bypass the cover’s locking mechanism.
14. Do not fill the bucket above the maximum fill line to avoid
risk of injury or damage to the appliance.

To provide continued protection against risk of electric
shock, connect to properly grounded outlets only.

Risk of burns. Wait until the end of the cycle, when the
cooling phase is complete, before removing the blades
or the bucket.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with

of the FCC Rules and complies with the Canadian ICES-003/
NMB-003 standard. Its operation is subject to the following

Never put contents in the device when the bucket is
missing. This may cause serious damage to the device.
Never start the device when the bucket is empty or missing.
The blades must be secured in the bucket and in the device
before placing food to prevent the food from blocking the
blade lock.
Do not use the device if the blades are damaged.
Respect the bucket’s fill line. Do not overload the device,
this may cause a blockage during the cycle or prevent the
proper completion of a cycle.
Add only the food waste recommended in the Acceptable
Materials section.
