10- Inserting or replacing the batteries
When the appliance is new or when
"
bAt-Lo " is displayed on the LCD display
(2) , it means that the batteries are
exhausted and must be replaced.
Procedure:
1.
Open the battery compartment (8)
and remove the two exausted batteries.
2. Insert two new batteries in the
compartment (8) paying attention to the
polarity indicated, the battery could be
damaged.
3. Close the battery compartment (8) .
Do not use rechargeable batteries on this appliance!
Always remove batteries when it is expected that the
thermometer will not be used for a long period of time!
11- Methods of use
a) The appliance switches ON at the simple push of the measuring
trigger (7) .
b) Wait 10 minutes in the case of first use or simply inserting a new
battery,
c) In the event of prolonged non-use, the thermometer will first
detect the temperature
of the environment, then
it will take a few more
seconds to switch ON.
d) Center the center of
the forehead with the
sensor
(1) and keep the
distance of about 3 cm,
then press the trigger
