Section 4. Maintenance

Disconnect the hob from the electricity supply and ensure that it
has been allowed to completely cool down before carrying out
cleaning or maintenance.

C lean the stainless steel surface w ith a dam p cloth or specialist
stainless steel cream . D o not use abrasives, caustic cleaners or
sharp objects

R em ove the pan supports and w ash th em in w arm soapy w ater.
��
T he gas burners should be cleaned regularly in order to avoid the
harm ful build -up of spills. R em ove the burner cap and skirt from
the ‘fixed’ burner body and w ash them in w arm soapy w ater (see
diagram below ).

W hen the above parts are rem oved, clean the area around the
burner body w ith w arm soapy w ater. G ently clean around the
injector and spark electrode.

R efit the burner skirt and cap onto the relevant burner body
ensuring that they are positioned correctly.

O ther than m aintaining the appliance in a clean w orking condition,
there is no other ‘user’ m aintenance that needs to be carried out.
