Hydraulic oil tank
Checking the hydraulic oil level
• Remove the return filter cover (55/2).
• Check the oil level using the sight glass (55/3) and
replenish hydraulic oil if necessary.
Changing the hydraulic oil
• Retract all hydraulic cylinders.
• Stop the engine.
• Unscrew the breather (55/1).
• Place suitable drip pans under the opening.
• Unscrew the drain plug (55/1) from the hydraulic
oil tank and drain oil into clean containers.
• Screw back on the drain plug carefully.
• Loosen the return filter cover.
• Fill up with clean hydraulic oil until the correct level
on the sight glass (55/3) is reached.
• Re-mount the filter cover.
• Screw back in the breather.

Attention
The excavating equipment must be extended
and lowered to the ground.
• Ensure that the hydraulic oil level lies
between the two markings.
Attention
• Only change the hydraulic oil when it is at
operating temperature.
Danger of scalding
due to hot oil getting into contact with skin or
eyes.
• Wear appropriate protective
clothing/safety goggles.
Attention
• Dispose of the waste oil according to
regulations.
