Recovery, Loading and Transporting
5.1
Recovery
The following towing lugs are available if the machine
has to be pulled for recovery:
– Lug (23/1) on chassis
– Two drilled holes (23/2) on dozer blade
5.2
Loading the machine by use of a
crane
• Empty and fold in the bucket.
• Position the work equipment to be pointing straight
ahead.
• Raise the boom as far as the height specified.
• Retract the dipperstick.
• Stop the engine.
• Leave the excavator and close the doors.
• Attach the excavator to the 3-point hoisting
appliance at the points illustrated in the correct
manner. Ensure that the crane lifting harness
(24/1) is correctly seated.

Attention
We recommend recovering the machine
using a crane.

Attention
Only use the original Terex
crane lifting
harness.
Machine damage
due to exceeding the maximum weight-lifting
capacity.
• Ensure that the weight-lifting capacity of
the crane is at least 8820 lbs.
