If it is difficult to hear buzzy noise, this is probably due to the electrical insulation of your body. Remove your shoes if necessary
or put a hand on a furniture.

The best place for Tip9 is actually a bedside table or any piece of
furniture close to you bed or a place where you are used to sit more
often.

Particles can accumulate over time around the device, especially
when air is very polluted.
Avoid positioning your TIP24 too close to walls (keep a minimum
50cm distance) or objects. You should especially avoid placing your
ioniser close to a metallic object as it will lower its efficiency.

You should notice it only over several weeks at least of operation.
And wipe with abrasive cleaning material
(dishwashing sponge for example).
Clean regularly, with feather duster for
example, to limit the build up of dust.
