4.5 WDS Settings
WDS Bridge Mode: wireless distribution system (WDS) is a system enabling the
wireless interconnection of access points in an IEEE 802.11 network. It allows a
wireless network to be expanded using multiple access points without the
traditional requirement for a wired backbone to link them.Note: The Access Points
you select MUST support WDS. Select
Wireless AP
from
WDS Mode
and
Enable
from
WDS Status
to enter screen below:

WDS Mode
: Select Wireless AP or Bridge. When operating in Bridge mode,
other wireless clients (excluding bridge participants) will not be able to connect to
the device; when operating in Wireless AP mode, other wireless clients will still be
able to connect to the device via SSID.
