LIST OF FAVOURITES (SATELLITE TV)

 

Press button 

FAV

 to call up the list of favourites.

See also page 27, Creating a list of favourites.

TELETEXT (NOT OFFERED BY ALL CHANNELS)  

Video text is an information system that can be displayed on your television. You can call up the pages listed in 
the index with the appropriate control buttons. 

Note: No display menus can be called up while the video text is called up. It is not possible to change 

colour, contrast and brightness, but the volume can be adjusted.

 

Press 

TEXT

 to call up the video text. As a rule, index page 100 will be displayed.

Pressing the button  

EXIT

 quits the video text; the screen displays the programme of the selected channel.

3. OPERATION OF THE “OYSTER

®

 SMART TV”

YOUTUBE APP

This app is permanently installed on your device. It allows you to access YouTube with all its functions. If you 
already have a Google account (prerequisite for operating a smartphone with Android operating system), you 
can log into the YouTube app. Thus you will receive similar video recommendation on your TV device than 
on your smartphone, for example. With the “Search” function at the top left you can search for videos in a 
targeted manner by entering certain terms. The button  

BACK

 allows you to go back one step in the YouTube 

app at any time. 

YOUTUBE KIDS  
This app is also permanently installed on your device. YouTube Kids offers a programme that is adapted to the 
needs of children and offers only safe content. To make use of this app, you must first create a user account. 
Please follow the instructions on the screen.

WEATHER  
This app is also permanently installed on your device. After entering the name of a town, you can view the 
current weather forecast for that location. To quit, please press  

EXIT

 on the remote control.
