alternate function (
internally controlled
)
Input pads
can only be read ; they report the digital value (
high or low
) present on the pad at the
read time .
Output pads
can only be written or queried and set the value of the pad output.
An
alternate function pad
is internally controlled by the GE865 firmware and acts depending on
the function implemented.
For Logic levels please refer to chapter 8.
The following table shows the available GPIO on the GE865 .

Not all GPIO pads support all these three modes:
•
GPIO2 supports all three modes and can be input, output, Jamming Detect Output
(Alternate function)
•
GPIO4 supports all three modes and can be input, output, RF Transmission Control
(Alternate function)
•
GPIO5 supports all three modes and can be input, output, RFTX monitor output
(Alternate function)
•
GPIO6 supports all three modes and can be input, output, alarm output (Alternate
function)
•
GPIO7 supports all three modes and can be input, output, buzzer output (Alternate

GPIO Logic levels
Where not specifically stated, all the interface circuits work at 2.8V CMOS logic levels.
The following table shows the logic level specifications used in the GE865
interface circuits:
