OPERATION
All workers who are connected to the LCU-3 communica-
tion unit and use the GroundCom headset 2002 must use
the PTT (push-to-talk) feature to enable their mic.
System Power
The LCU-3 communication unit is powered by a 9 Volt
rechargable battery (see figure 1). It can also be powered
externally through the AUX connector

Headset connectors: The headset connector
takes a 6.35mm stereo plug. When the headset
is plugged into the unit, the unit automatically
turns on. Conversely, when the headset is
unplugged, it turns off.

Power ON LED: The power ON LED lights
green when power is active in the product.
