6.7 Bridge Filtering
The
Bridge Filtering
Configuration
page allows users to set the configuration
of IP Filtering.
Enable Bridge Filtering function first, and then configure the settings below:
Source
MAC
Enter the
Source MAC
address, select
Block
and click Add.
Then all incoming WAN and LAN Ethernet packets matched with
this source MAC address will be filtered out. If the
Forward
is
selected, then the pockets will be forwarded to the destination.
The MAC address of source, and its format should be
000002fa6fab.
Destination
MAC
Enter the
Destination MAC
address, select
Block
and click Add.
Then all incoming WAN and LAN Ethernet packets matched with
this destination MAC address will be filtered out. If the
Forward
is
selected, then the pockets will be forwarded to the destination.
The MAC address of destination, and its format should be
000002fa6fab.
TYPE
Enter the hexadecimal number for the Ethernet type field in
Ethernet_
Ⅱ
packets. For example 0800is for IP protocol.
Block
All incoming WAN and LAN Ethernet packets matched
with the source MAC address will be filtered out.
Mode
Forward
All incoming WAN and LAN Ethernet packets matched
with the source MAC address will be forwarded to the
destination PC.
