Select New File with the icon or the menu File, New IP Connections, IP
Connections management, select Create new connection and select the direct
option (LAN) in the Connection Type. Then enter a name and the IP address of
the CDC module.

In Session Control box, select IP Connection, then Start session. Then select
the name of the connection made in step 2.

Enter Password for the headend and select Apply.

You will see the status screen as the session is started.
