Voice Recognition

TeleType offers the unique ability to train your PDA to recognize your voice*. You can choose just a few
commands, or many, to be recognized.

Only PC and PDA versions of the software currently support
Voice Recognition.

To use the Voice Recognition function of the software, you will need to have a microphone connected to your
PC, laptop, or PDA device. Laptops and PDAs usually come with a built-in microphone.

Before you begin using voice commands, you will need to train the program to recognize the commands.

Voice recognition tab in the preferences window

Go to

View > Preference

(

MENU > Prefs

on PDA), and select the

tab. For a more detailed explanation

of what the features of the

tab are, see Voice Recognition.

Under

Voice Recognition

, check the box next to

Enable

Press the

Training

button.

Select a specific voice command that you would like to record.
