key to confirm.
If the contact is saved in the phone, the newly saved contact name is marked with the
phone symbol. If the contact is saved in the SIM card, the newly saved contact name is
marked with the SIM card symbol.
To check memory status
1. Go to
Menu > Contacts
.
2. Select
Options > Settings > Memory status
and
press the left
key.
3. Check the memory status of the SIM card and the phone.
7.9 Sending messages
1. Go to
Menu > Messages
.
2. Press the left
key to see available options:
Write message
Write SMS and MMS messages.
Inbox
View received messages.
Drafts
View the drafted messages.
Outbox
View the messages that the phone is sending out.
Sent messages
View the sent messages.
SMS Templates
View and edit text templates.
Settings
Manage SMS and MMS messages.
To send text messages (SMS)
1. Go to
Menu > Messages > Write message > SMS
to display the text editing interface.
2. Type message and press the left
key to open
Options
menu.
3. Select
Send
. Then select
Enter recipient
to type a phone number, or select
Contacts
to
select a contact from the phonebook.
4. Select
Options > Send
to send out the message.

When editing a message (SMS), press the left
key to see available options:
Send
Access to insert number directly or select number from
phonebook.
Insert symbols
Select special characters for insertion.
Writing language
Select a text language.
Insert template
Insert a predefined message. You can add or edit
templates at:
Menu > Messages > SMS templates
.
Advanced settings
Access the phonebook to select and insert a contact
number or name into the content of the message.
Save to Drafts
Save the message in the
Drafts
folder so it can be sent
later.
Exit
Exit the text writing interface.
How to type using keypad
The letters of the alphabet are arranged on numeric keys from 2 to 9.
